We’re excited to launch ‘Healthy women’ our new webinar series on women’s health and wellbeing presented by Alliance CEO, Professor Sandra Creamer AM (Waanyi Kalkadoon) and A/Professor Nina Lansbury, School of Public Health at The University of Queensland.
Our new position paper analyses the intersection of climate change, gender equality and healthcare, highlighting how existing inequalities are magnified for women and gender diverse people.
Over the last 2 months organisations from across Australia united to take part in our 6-Week Gender-Responsive Health Challenge, a national initiative aimed at strengthening gender equity in health policies, services and practices.
Australian Women’s Health Alliance acknowledges the owners of the lands on which we live and work, and pay our respect to Elders past and present. We recognise First Nations people across this country and their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture. Sovereignty has not been ceded.
